About us
I believe that by surrounding ourselves with beauty and harmony we can see and transform the world in a
better light.
Through *VIVIARTE*, I want to invite everyone to an EVERYDAY ARTFUL LIVING culture – to wake up surrounded by beauty, feel inspired to radiate positivity, and contribute to a world that is richer and more harmonious. My desire is to grow *VIVIARTE* into a shared creative space showcasing the work of both artists and crafters. In particular I want to give a platform to talented women whose skillful hands craft modern, exquisite and cosy knits while preserving the traditions for many generations.
Meet the Founder
If I had to define myself in just one word, it would be CREATING. Not sure if I have found it or Creating has
found me but here it is, woven into everything I do. I create because of a constant powerful inner drive to contribute to a better and beautiful world. I draw inspiration from aesthetics,
travel, nature and from the joy of sharing beauty with people.
My name is Valeria Vidula and I am the founder of Viviarte.
Together with our participating artists, we welcome you to explore our collection of everyday artful living. Here, you’ll find original art, cozy knitwear, unique jewelry, home décor items and more—each piece crafted with the intention of bringing warmth, inspiration, and beauty into your life.
Artist Bio: Valeria Vidula
Valeria is a mixed-media and oils artist born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Plovdiv is a strong inspiration by itself being the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe dating back to around 4000 years BC and cradling a rich ancient cultural heritage (Thracian, Roman and Byzantine).
Valeria developed her artistic voice initially by self-study and practicing with renouned artists - members of the Society of Bulgarian Artists in Plovdiv, and subsequently with master artists from France and Moscow. After undertaking a business management career in the corporate world where she also continued creating, but this time various business ventures, she realizes that after all artful living is deeply in her soul and personality and completed a 2-year intensive program at the Mastery Academy of the Milan Art Institute, USA, to uplift professionally her passion for painting.
Valeria has participated in a number of gallery exhibitions and art fairs in Sofia and Plovdiv, together with other emerging artists. Collectors of her art are active professional women who love to create a vibrant artistic ambience at their homes and work place.
Valeria is inspired by the beauty and aesthetics wherever it is to be seen. She loves painting florals, landscapes and seascapes which are often inspired by her frequent travels around Italy, Greece and the Bulgarian seaside. Her art reveals the vibrant emotions of her seemingly calm and quiet outer expression.
As a mixed-media artist, she enjoys the fluidity of acrylic inks, the luxury and elegance of gold, and the depth
and vibrancy of oils as her finishing touch. Her other creative passions include working with porcelain and making ceramics, as well as crafting jewelry and cosy knits using luxury natural yarns. Each medium
allows her to communicate her vision of beauty differently and layer a story of color, texture, and form.
Valeria’s art is contemporary realism with a touch of abstraction bringing vibrant harmony to any modern interior space.
Artist Bio: Maria Risheva (Mimi)
A story of artful women since generations.
Mimi is the main inspirator of the handknits categories in Viviarte. She inherits her passion and skills from her mother and grandmother. She uses traditional designs but transforms them in a contemporary look and feel so as to turn each project into an elegant masterpiece. She loves adding a touch of luxury by using natural and quality materials like cashmere, mohair, silk and linen. Mimi is skillful both in knitting and crocheting and she often combines the traditional techniques applying them in a modern way which adds to the uniqueness of her projects. Her signature items combine luxury yarns with sparkling sequins and crystals.
Mimi would love to see the joy and self-appreciation ignited in every woman that would choose to wear any item of her beautifully crafted collections.
